On June 15, 2022, the British Columbia Association of Chiefs of Police unanimously passed a motion to endorse Out On Patrol and our initiatives. They committed to working collaboratively to further our mission and vision throughout the province of BC.
Allowing members to attend society events in uniform, provides an opportunity to humanize law enforcement by enabling the community to interact with us in a positive and welcoming environment.
Department's can show their public support of Out On Patrol and their 2SLGBTQ+ members, by permitting the use of department vehicles at society events.
Out On Patrol welcomes financial support from individuals and businesses. Although we are not able to issue tax receipts at this time, we are a registered non-profit society with the Province of BC. All donations help support Out On Patrol's programs and initiatives.
Out On Patrol understands that every agency has its own policies related to protecting its public image and trademarks. Although we are widely supported by countless law enforcement agencies, we will only post photos and videos of agencies which have officially provided consent to Out On Patrol.
