Out On Patrol has been an idea in the making for many years. In 2019 it became a reality when we came together as a small group of police officers from British Columbia to officially incorporate as a non-profit society. The name “Out On Patrol“ perfectly describes what we are trying to achieve as members of law enforcement. We are 2SLGBTQ+ peace officers out on patrol and we are here to not only support one another, but to advance positive and progressive initiatives within our communities.
For over a year, with the support of our departments, the founding members worked tirelessly behind the scenes in order to raise funds and build relationships with the law enforcement community. Thanks to the overwhelmingly supportive response, the society was launched publicly in 2020.
Out On Patrol is excited to continue to build on the momentum it has gained since 2019. Please contact us with any questions you might have or sign up for a membership today, so we can continue to build our network of incredible 2SLGBTQ+ officers!
